As
we try to take in all that has been going on in
our nation since elections on 27th of December,
we can still attest of Gods faithfulness in the
past and we know that now we stand on the precipice
of what will be the best year ever!
In 2008 our ministry grew in stature, power and
revelation as God favored us with great insights.
We now encourage you to take time in this season
and begin prophesying and positioning yourself
for year 2008. We believe this will be an incredible
pivotal year.
Rev Teresia Wairimu this year exhorted believers
in this great nation not to focus on the things
happening in the natural because God is giving
Kenya a new beginning.
Speaking at a meeting attended by thousands of
believers on 13th January2008, Rev. Wairimu said
God would turn around the difficulties that have
rocked the nation and bestow blessings upon the
land. She shared the prophetic message from Ezekiel
34:26-27, “And I will make them and the
places round about my hill a blessing, and I will
cause the showers to come down in their season;
there shall be showers of blessing. And the tree
of the field shall yield its fruit and the earth
shall yield its increase; and my people shall
be secure in their land, and they shall be confident
and know that I am the Lord, when I have broken
the bars of their yoke and have delivered them
out of the hands of those who made slaves of them.”
Rev. Wairimu prophesied that the year 2008 will
be a year of New Beginnings. She emphasized that
the just ended year was one of rest but this year
will be one of work. She urged believers to make
sure they touch something and make their hands
dirty so that God can bless the work of their
hands. Giving an illustration using the Jewish
people who circumcise their male children on the
8th day and name them the same day, she encouraged
believers that this year they would get a new
name irrespective of what people had named them
in the past.
The servant of God went on to proclaim that despite
what was being seen in the natural, God would
bring peace and joy, prosperity and abundance
this year. She reminded believers that God is
a God of season so the showers will come in their
season and with a blessing.
The prophetic word ended on a high note as she
took the believers through the promises that God
has in store for them this year. Quoting Ezekiel
34: 26-27, she prophesied that:
1. The trees of the field shall be productive.
Whatever looked like it was dying will produce
this year. It is therefore time to speak to our
trees.
2. The earth shall yield an increase for your
benefit.
3. The people will be safe and secure in their
land.
4. Yokes shall be broken and you shall be delivered
from the hands of those who took you captive.
This is going to be a great year and we look forward
to its unfolding…
