Partners and friends
of F.E.M,
Welcome
to the Year of Rest!
Faith Evangelistic Ministries (FEM) wishes to extend a
warm embrace to all partners, Ministers, co-workers,
close associates, affiliates, and, indeed, all
the friends of this prophetic move, birthed in
prayer in time for such a season as this.
We,
certainly, seize this earliest opportunity, to
stretch out our hands and usher you into the year
2008, a year that shall also witness the onset
of a new season, that of prayer, and intimacy
with God.
What
you just set your eyes into seeing on this screen,
and your intellectual capacity into comprehending,
is a clear guide to the prophetic path that has
been charted out by the Almighty God, meant for
treading by the Church of Christ, here in this
Nation. This displays the prophetic word, which
unravels the divine mysteries that we shall see
unfold in this very Year. The season’s prophetic
theme is depicted from Exodus 14:13.
The
Road –map was laid bare in prophetic pronouncements
declared before the saints, at the Faith Evangelistic Ministries (FEM)’s first of its monthly crusades
this year, held on Sunday January 14th,2008.The
open air meeting, held every second Sunday of
the month, was held at Dagoretti Corner grounds,
next to the meteorological department, in Nairobi,
Kenya. It had earlier been preceded by the end
of year annual overnight meeting, held on Sunday
31st December, 2006, at Jamhuri High School, where
saints got a privilege of having a first-hand
opportunity to listen to the disclosure of the
prophetic word. The prophetic guidance for the
year was offered in both meetings, by the Director
of the Faith Evangelistic Ministries (FEM), Reverend
Teresa Wairimu Kinyanjui.
This
year’s gathering at Dagoretti meeting goes
down in history as one of the most spectacular
in recent past.
It was an occasion that would linger on in the
memories of many, as one that ushered in a powerful
wave of change, and the clearest direction yet,
for our lives, and that of the nation, in a season
where Kenya braces itself for a politically charged
spell. This was also the meeting that saw the
saints’ eyes opened to the greatest upsurge
of spiritual breakthrough that is to flow into
the church this year.
The
meeting also sent strong indicative pointers to
2008 as an extraordinary year, when a local popular
secular artist, Harry Kimani, of the “Kairitu
gakwa” fame, opened wide his arms to God’s
saving grace. The artist had attended the meeting,
as part of a team accompanying the youth president,
The team had graced the meeting in line with the
commemoration of U.S. Civil rights campaigner
the late Martin Luther King Jnr’s quest
for equal rights.
In
her outline of the prophecy for the year 2008,
Reverend Teresa Wairimu proclaimed this year as
one that would get the church return to God, bringing
forth a season of prayer, and intimacy with Him.
She carried on to announce that the year would
be characterized by what she called the “three
Ps” mainly prayer, purification, and pursuit,
saying that those were the key ingredients that
would keep believers walking in 2008. The prophet
also did declare 2008 as “The Year of Perfection
and accomplishment.” She said that as the
saints embarked on earnestly seeking God, he would
proceed with accomplishing every good work he
has started in their individual lives. This shall
see many believers fulfill many of their ambitions,
desires and dreams. She therefore urged believers
to go ahead and pursue them.
The
servant of God also emphasized that even as perfection
came forth, 2008 shall come with it purification.
She observed that though the church had gone through
trials that saw it compromise the faith, a wave
of sanctification was coming back to the church,
which shall in turn usher in true worship that
would bring down God’s presence in the church.
She urged Christians to keep pursuing their quest
for God, as this shall see every will of God in
their lives accomplished.
The
evangelist, however, did not go without sounding
an alert to the nation due to some crucial challenges
ahead. She revealed that this would be an extraordinary
year, bearing in mind that it was one that would
bring with it a crucial political transition.
This is so, as we head for an event-filled electioneering
period, which, as she disclosed, would bring in
a powerful political wave that shall rock the
nation. She put it plain that the nation shall
witness a continuation of a trail of exposure
of evil, and that, sadly, leaders would be on
the receiving end. She made it clear that leaders
shall turn against each other, with each hoping
to use the opportunity to gain political mileage.
She also laid it bare, that there were leaders
who would not accept results of the coming election,
a situation that would cause panic and unrest
in the nation, but assured the believers that
it shall be well with the church. Noting that
the church was of no exception, she urged Christians
to pray, but at the same time remain hidden in
the secret place, in the event of the gathering
storm.
She
did not hesitate to call on the government to
be on alert, as there were critical security concerns
that needed serious attention, particularly in
regard to insecurity at the country’s borders.
She made it known that Kenya risked an invasion
from the North, and committed herself to addressing
the issues with the Government’s security
arm.
It
is the young generation that has been strategically
placed, and earmarked by God for the ushering
in of the new priesthood prophesied earlier. This,
she revealed, shall come into fulfillment this
year. Now, she said, was the time that the stage
was set for young pastors who would take charge
of mega churches, entrusted with God’s divine
offices, such as that of prophecy. This would,
in turn, make the young generation leave the most
celebrated legacy as “the leaders of today,”
contrary to the politicians’ slogan, which
refers to the youth as “the leaders of tomorrow.”
She noted that young people had been despised
for a long while, yet they were passionate for
God and not earthly gain. The nation should therefore
prepare to witness the old and rejected priesthood,
swept away in 2008.
The
sermon was closed on a high note, as the servant
of God declared 2008 as the year marking the end
of “slavery.” Quoting Exodus 14 :13,she
prophesied that the believers would see chains
of oppression, stagnation and slavery broken,
as this was the “4:30 hour,” signifying
an end to struggle., and a beginning of a new
season of prosperity.
Most
of all, she dwelt on the key pillars that shall
take the church through 2008, mainly, prayer,
pursuit, Perfection, accomplishment, and, eventually,
Rest.
We
look forward to a year of God's Perfection
